Hey beauty queens! So I know the Amrezy palette has been out on the market for some period of time, however; I recently re-purchased it and I couldn’t help but share my thoughts with you! We all know and love Amrezy and needless to say, she’s my absolute favorite on social media. Just in case you need a lil reminder, let me give you a short background of miss Amra Olevic.

Who is Amrezy
Amra first began her beauty career working for Sephora while running her very own beauty blog back in 2014. She joined the social media world and her career quickly took off as many discovered her stunning beauty and phenomenal makeup artistry skills. Amra Olevic (better known as Amrezy) was born and raised in Montenegro and moved to the United States at the age of 9. She then spent most of her life living in LA and NY city.
Her very first collaboration was actually with Anastasia Beverly Hills with the release of a 10 pan eyeshadow palette. This was probably the HOTTEST beauty product of 2014. Shortly after this limited edition palette launched, it became nearly impossible to find (thankfully I purchased mine just in time!). Next, came the release of what is still considered the BEST highlighter of all time. The dynamic duo created a product that flew off the shelves and shook the beauty world once again with the Anastasia Beverly Hills x Amrezy highlighter.
Now for this third collaboration we all expect nothing short of amazing, and that is exactly what this palette is. A true masterpiece if you will. Now let’s get straight into it!
Amrezy Palette Description
This limited edition palette features a breathtaking 16 shade range varying from mattes, to glitter and metallic finishes. The design of the Amrezy palette matches the slim, rectangular packaging that all ABH palettes follow. I can definitely appreciate the easy-to-travel with packaging as I like to keep my makeup kit as compact as possible. I also love Amrezy’s idea of capturing the most common, everyday shades in this palette. Check out this quote shared from miss QUEEN herself:
I wanted to make a palette that had every shade you would need for any mood, any occasion. it comes with your everyday neutrals, your pinks for when you’re feeling flirty, and your smokey shades to kick things up a notch. This one palette is my new go-to for creating any look I can dream up.
Amrezy
The shades featured in this palette are perfect for any skin tone, partly why it’s became highly sought after. The tones are highly pigmented and show up on the skin with just a single swipe. What makes this color story extra versatile is the inclusion of four different brown tones and a black tone. From a light terracotta shade to a medium cool-toned brown, my favorite thus far is the ash-toned dark brown shade, Yugo.
I can definitely appreciate a black shade in any palette, as I am sure most artists can too. I love creating a smokey dramatic look or a even a smudged liner effect and this makes it so easy and so convenient! Let me just tell you, although it is such a common shade, not all palettes will add a true black shade. Gotta love it.
I will say that 60% of this palette is some sort of shimmer or metallic. This is important to note as not everyone enjoys sparkle in their eyes, and that’s okay. You can still create amazing looks with using the rest of the shades. I am one of those gals that prefers a softer texture to the eyes but every now and then popping a hint of shimmer in the outer corner is fun too. Below I will be listing the shades and finishes for your reference:
Shade breakdown
As you can see, the first row of shades all have a shimmer or metallic finish. The shades all swatched beautifully. Gemini and Litty have a unique texture as both of these shades have no binding base. Their texture is similar to a loose glitter, but attach to the skin quite well. These two shadows have to be applied using a patting motion rather than a sweep. Overall I would consider these “topper” shades.
The bottom six shades are all a beautiful matte finish. These shades are what really gives this palette its diversity. These shades allow you to transform from a soft daytime look to an evening sultry glam. As you can tell, I had to swatch twice on my arm for the color payoff. Though that was not the case when I applied on my eyes. Overall this formula is very similar to the rest of Anastasia Beverly Hills collection. Upon application there was some kickback when dipping my brush so I would highly recommend to slightly tap off excess shadow before applying it on your eyes.

Eyeshadow look with Amrezy palette
As mentioned above, the Amrezy palette has a unique color story that allows for an endless amount of eyeshadow looks. Whether you’re a busy gal on the go or a full time beauty guru, this palette delivers beautiful colors with exceptional color payoff. The versatility makes it one of my top picks in my vanity because Its got all my go-to shades.
Neutral browns are easy to pair with and can be applied onto any wardrobe or mood. The metallic shimmery shades can be easily sweeped across the lid for an easy pop of color. The pigmented glitter can also be used on top of any eyeshadow base colors here which makes for an even more daring look.
Amrezy palette eyeshadow tutorial
I’ve put together a simple step by step video tutorial creating one of my go-to eyeshadow looks using the Amrezy palette. I will also be sharing a written step by step below if you prefer to read it instead! Here it goes:
How to recreate this look using the Amrezy palette:
- Begin with applying the shade New Yawyker all across your eyes using the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill JH30 brush (an exact dupe of this is the morphe 504)
- Next, apply the shade 1988 on your crease using sweeping motions with the Morphe 441 brush.
- Using the shade Yugo, take the Morphe 506 brush and place it on the inner and outer corners of the eye to add dimension to the look.
- Go back in with the Morphe 441 brush to blend it in using light circular motions.
- Next tap the shade Dragon in the center of the lid followed by Gemini using a light finger touch.
- Lastly, take the morphe 506 brush and apply Yugo on the lower lash line to give it a smokey look.
- Finally, apply mascara, and top off the look with your favorite lashes. That’s it!
